National Panama Rental Terms for travel between 21-Nov-2014 and 31-Dec-2022

An initial, non-refundable deposit will be secured at the time of booking confirmation. Accepted credit cards are Visa and MasterCard (transaction fee of 1.75% applies).

The balance will be secured directly by the supplier on arrival.

Additional Driver Policy
Additional drivers can be added at a cost of $3.00 USD per day.

Age Requirements
Minimum rental age is 23 years and there is no maximum rental age. There is no young renter fee.

Cross Border Policy
Vehicles are not allowed out of Panama.

Delivery / Collection
Delivery and collection is not available. Pickup and drop off is available free within 3 miles of rental location. From 3 - 15 miles it is available at a cost of $20.00 USD. Between 15 and 25 miles, the cost is $30.00 USD.

Insurance Excess
Collision Damage Waiver & Theft Waiver limits the customer's financial responsibility for loss, damage or theft of the rental vehicle. The maximum excess that is payable in the event of one of these incidents is 2000.00 USD. The maximum excess will vary depending on the vehicle you are renting, please ask at time of rental for further information on which excess applies. If you would like to reduce or remove your excess responsibility please ask the rental staff when collecting your vehicle about additional products that are on offer .

License Requirements
Customers must have valid drivers license from country of origin. Customers must show Passport.

One Way Rentals
One way is available and a surcharge will apply to all one ways.

Out of Hours Policy

Payment Policy
All major credit cards accepted (AMEX/Diners Club/Master Card/Visa). Vouchers and OTTO's are accepted. MCO's are no longer accepted. An authorization of 30% of the full rental in addition to the rental charges will be place on the credit card. This is released at the end of the rental. No cash rentals allowed.

Refuelling Policy
Vehicles are provided full and must be returned the same or a refueling charge will apply. The charge is the cost of fuel plus 25%.

Roadside Assistance
For Roadside Assistance please call (011) 507-265-2222 or (011) 507-265-3333 or (011) 507-238-4142. In case of an accident, customers must complete a police report at time of incident.

Special Equipment
- Child/Toddler seats are available at a cost of $3.00 USD per day. These are good for children 12 months to 4 years.- Infant seats are available at a cost of $3.00 USD per day. These are good for children 12 months and under. These must be reserved in advance.- GPS are available at a cost of $10.95 per day and $48.65 per week with a $120.00 maximum charge per rental contract. There is a replacement fee of $350 USD if the GPS is not returned.

Airport surcharge is 12% at Tocumen AirportAirport surhcarge is 6% at Enrique Malek Airport and Marcos Gelabert Airport (aka Albrook Airport)

Tax is 7%

The rental agreement is between you and the supplier and we will not be liable to you or to any third party in relation to the terms of the supplier's rental agreement or any other documentation provided to you by the supplier at the time of pick up.

While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure we are representing only reputable suppliers, we make no warranty about the fitness or suitability of any third party (supplier) product or service and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness of any vehicle. We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.

Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

Booking information
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice.

If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.

Information disclosure
In booking on this website you acknowledge that we disclose your information to your selected Supplier in order to provide the requested rental services.

Vehicle capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.

Refund Policy
In the event of cancellation, any deposit amounts paid at the time of booking are non-refundable. 

If you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.
